System Design and Installation

We provide a complete in-house system design service and carefully tailor specification suggestions to provide the most practical and cost effective solutions.

We can re-design your interior lighting using more cost effective, energy efficient systems an example of this would be to use daylight dimming and occupancy detection. If your rooms have no suspended ceilings, these two could be installed as part of any new lighting scheme.

MBE Reactive can undertake the installation of any additional power and data requirements that may be needed for your IT or general use locations such as classrooms and admin areas. All our engineers are KRONE trained and have been passed as certified KRONE installers.

MBE Reactive can assist you with the annual maintenance of your existing security alarms, door access, CCTV, fire alarms and emergency lighting systems.

We can offer you a tailored maintenance package, working within your budget, to cover periodic testing of your emergency lighting and fire alarm systems – this should ideally be done on a quarterly basis. You may already have something in place but it could be more cost effective for a single company such as MBE Reactive to do it all.

MBE Reactive can undertake periodic test and inspection of your current electrical installation work, normally required every five years, to fulfil your insurers’ requirement to ensure the existing installation is safe for you and your occupants.

Pat Testing

In 1989 the Electricity at Work Regulation introduced the need to test all portable appliances and electrical installations (PAT tests). MBE Reactive provide a highly efficient service designed to carry out the necessary testing and provide certificates, in accordance with the guidelines laid down in the Codes of Practice of the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE).

Surge Suppression

MBE Reactive can undertake a site survey at your request, to investigate risk areas where surge suppression units are required to be installed within existing distribution boards, most commonly at your intake position or at dedicated IT distribution boards.

The installation of solar panels on roofs has increased the risk of lightning strikes, due to the metal frames that they are housed on. Surge suppression devices protect your sensitive electronic equipment from dangerous voltage spikes caused by direct lightning strikes or inductive switching.
